Description
Joe Shetterley is a 3rd generation concrete finisher. He has spent over 35 years finishing in the field. His goal has always been to simply take care of his family and others all while making better concrete.
Amidst his journey, he discovered how to take a centuries old product and apply it to the future. Not only has he worked to perfect the technology but he discovered the process. The process of adding nano silica to the ready mix truck. It was this process that ultimately lead to making better concrete. All of this under the name of E5 Internal Cure- the 5th element of concrete.
However, he did not stop there, he looked at that technology and wanted to overcome supply chain deficiencies and shortages with fly ash. Thus created his quest to create a SCM replacement. Liquid Fly Ash was born.
The E5 line of products have been vetted time and time again by external resources such as universities as well as countless yards in the field. Time and time again the products perform in both places. Proven in the field and verified in the lab is the motto of Joe.
Evidence
Joe is the majority owner of Specification Products. His name is proudly on one issued patent and five other patents pending- with more in the works.
Under Joe’s leadership Specification Products just signed an exclusive agreement with a global leader in chemical manufacturing industry. Who thought the finisher from Indiana would partner with the behemoth chemical manufacturer? Not only is there an issued patent but there are also EPDs for both E5 Internal Cure and E5 Liquid Fly Ash.
Both E5 Internal Cure and LFA are making their way into bridges connecting our countries fragile infrastructure. DOTs across the country are not only accepting the technology but are sharing data with other states.
Specification Products just returned fro the World of Concrete where the company proudly showcased their line of products.
All of this was done under the direction of the concrete innovator and super hero, Joe Shetterley.
