Specification Products is a concrete technology company. The company has the focus of utilizing technology and innovation to bridge gaps in the concrete industry.
With the shortages and quality changes in fly ash- the founder of Specification Products knew something had to change. He worked with Purdue University- in the lab- in the field and spent countless hours pouring over cement mill reports to find a solution. Nano silica was just that.
Mr. Shetterley blended multiple sizes and formulations of nano silica to make just the right blend. Well, the right blend for each cement formulations.
He created a product that with extremely tight manufacturing standards that is repeatable. Unlike fly ash- LFA is the same product each time. He fine tuned the formula to geographic cement differences.
This was such a success that he found producers could reduce up to 15% of other cementitious materials.
LFA enhances the properties of other SCMs. It is also a green alternative that maintains strength requirements while providing a consistent product each time.
