Shumaker Industries' Load & Go Ready Mix Truck Wash System® (newest model: LG2200) is a fully automated truck was system that is a direct result of 15 years of design improvements and research, to perfect the wash down process for the ready mixed industry. Reducing the “Boot to Gate” time to under 3 minutes is fully attainable with the LG2200. The LG2200 is designed to wash a front or rear discharge mixer truck automatically and completely from front to back, top to bottom, hitting the hard-to-reach areas such as the discharge end, hopper, and discharge blades while the mixer is stopped in red zone of the wash system (communicated through a patent pending mixer positioning system). On average, it takes one minute and 45 gallons of water to completely clean a mixer truck using the LG2200. The wash system has a dual cantilevered frame which increases the coverage area by 63% over our earlier wash models (LG1800 & LG Legacy Models). The new frame design houses 108 nozzles (compared to earlier models with 72 nozzles) that direct 1000 PSI water jets to every inch of the mixer. The nozzles are not just any ordinary nozzles, they are a combination of direct bore, hydro knife, turbo, custom machined rotary and expanded coverage venturi nozzles. The range and impact pressure of these nozzles has been vastly improved as well, going from 4 solenoids on earlier models to 10 on the LG2200. The LG2200 precisely cleans the mixer, reduces boot to gate time, improves safety, creates less processed water and improves quality by consistently adding the same amount of water (6 gallons on a rear discharge, 7.5 gallons on a front discharge mixer) to the mix.
