2024 CONCRETE INNOVATIONS AWARDS
The NRMCA Concrete Innovations Award Program recognizes outstanding achievement in concrete design and construction. Innovative projects that demonstrate outstanding achievements in performance while lowering environmental impacts including embodied and operational carbon footprint are awarded. Nominees are now being accepted for the 2024 Concrete Innovations Awards. Deadline for nominations is January 31, 2024.
2024 CONCRETE INNOVATION AWARDS CRITERIA
Eligibility: Building or infrastructure project, substantially designed and built using concrete in the United States in the last five years that demonstrates improved performance and sustainability. An NRMCA member company must have been involved in supplying products or services to the project. Any member of the design, build or product supplier team can submit a nomination.
Areas of Excellence: Concrete buildings or infrastructure projects that use advanced quality control, innovative cements, supplementary cementitious materials, admixtures, aggregates, recycling methods, carbon capture and sequestration technologies, measurement tools or innovative designs to improve performance and sustainability.
Judging Criteria: Demonstrate improvements in performance, including improved strength, durability, resilience, energy efficiency and sustainability, including embodied carbon reduction over typical projects of the same type.
Deadline: Nominations will be accepted through January 31, 2024.
